The time has now surfaced for EA to announce all the brand-new innovative ideas for the new instalment of Fifa Ultimate Team 14!
Ultimate Team has proven to be ever more popular this year with almost an astonishing 1 Billion games being played, and 17 million cards being transfered daily. However, with all this popularity, it has also meant FUT 13 endured criticism to parts of the game-mode. What does FUT 14 offer you this year? Here are in-depth details!

Firstly, let's take a look at the redesigned and improved appearance of FUT 14.
You can now search for the exact player you want, by simply entering their name in the search box.
New pack opening animations have been added.
Player cards will now be in a fresh 'crest' style appearance. (This affects In Form cards too)
You are also able to search for 'similar' players in the Transfer Market instantly via the Squad Management Screen.
What we were accustom to calling 'The Auction House', is now called the 'Transfer Market' in FUT 14.
Now, let's see what additions/removals have been made in FUT 14.
Online Single matches are back! -This was without a doubt the mode which was high in demand from the FUT community. Players will be able to test out their talents and squads, in single game matches online against rivals.
Expanded Seasons Mode - EA have now implemented 10 divisions instead of the previous 5. By doing this, it should enhance the match-making, and increase the rivalry and competition in the top divisions. You will also be able to track all of your results, due to the new 'Historic Season Stats'.
Formation and Morale cards have now been completely removed from the game. (Has been replaced with the 'Loyalty' and 'Deeper Chemistry' features which you can read further down)
Deeper Chemistry system.
This, along with the 'Player Loyalty' feature, are the biggest addition to FUT 14, and will innovate and transform the way you think about your squads.
You'll now have the ability to adapt your squad to a wide range of different and unique playing styles. This will in turn, remove formations, and quite frankly the bewildering moral cards.
There will be a large number of different Chemistry Styles for all players on your team, whether that'd be; Goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders or attackers. Each and every Chemistry Style will affect different player attributes, which conclusively, will make all individual play styles differ from one another.
So, here we have an example of Lionel Messi's card. As you can see, the Chemistry Style applied to the card, is 'Sniper'. Which would translate to the Finisher Style, therefore increasing his finishing and pace. (Just an example, not confirmed which stats would be increased)
EA have not confirmed how much boost will be applied, but here are some examples;
If you apply the Finisher Chemistry Style, it will add +2 for Finishing and Heading.
If you add the Engine Chemistry Style, it will add +2 for Stamina and Pace.
If you add the Power Chemistry Style, it will add +2 for Defending and Passing.
And so on. EA have yet to announce how many Chemistry Styles will be included at launch day, but they are aiming for approximately 20.
Ideally, the goal you want to achieve with your squad is the perfect chemistry/balance, which should in turn get you well on your way to success!
This feature will not only make for lots of experimenting, but also make the online experience very diverse. If you were to play a Brazilian team, and you beat your opponent with ease, the next player you face with a Brazilian squad, could have totally different Chemistry Styles and therefore creating a whole different scenario on the pitch.
So ultimately, Team Chemistry will now build up by you playing more and more games with your team.
Managers - This year, Managers will have a bigger impact based on his Nationality and League affiliation, which will give you a boost in Chemistry.
This is also another new aspect of FUT 14. The Loyal Chemistry stat will add +1 to your Chemistry.
Players which you attain from opening packs, will be instantly loyal to you. However, if you are to buy a player from the Transfer Market and you are its first owner, you will need to play a minimum of 10 games in order to achieve the Loyal status and gain that +1 Chemistry boost.
For the first time in FUT, all of these options will be able to be accessed through the Squad Screen.
Ability to change Kit numbers on players (Not have Sergio Aguero running round with a Number 2 on his back)
Change set-piece takers.
Choose your Team Captains.
